Circle Bar Ranch
Quarter Horses
Established 1981
The Circle Bar Ranch was founded in 1981 by Jerry Bob and Eug-
enie Daniel. They began purchasing and leasing property in the
Truscott, Texas area where the ranch is presently headquartered.
They have operated in Foard, Cottle, King and Knox counties, but
in 1991 decided to focus operations in Knox county. The Daniel's
operation is primarily a cow-calf operation with a wheat stocker
program. Their focus has been on angus cattle for over 37 years.
Their ranch operation consists of 43,000 acres, which was es-
tablished mainly from three historic ranches located in Truscott.
Since 1926 five generations of the Daniel family have been cattle-
men or cowboyed in the Truscott and western Foard county area.
Eugenie’s family founded the Pitchfork Ranch near Guthrie, Tex-
as in 1883. Eugenie is the only member of the Williams family who
has committed her lifestyle full-time to ranching.
Circle Bar horses are bred, selected, and developed to carry on
the genetics of highly respected
ranch horse bloodlines. They
prove their genetic ability ev-
ery day in all phases of ranch
work. Circle Bar Pistol, a son
of Playgun, has sired many of
the geldings in this sale. Pis-
tol won several ranch rodeo
top horse honors, including
2010 AQHA Amateur Versatil-
ity World Champion and was
named Champion in RHAA
and SHOT. Circle Bar Mr Pep-
to, by Peptoboonsmal and out
of a Smart Little Lena mare,
